Structure

1. Air switch
A general air switch, which is the power control of the entire cabinet. I believe that every cabinet must have something.
2. PLC
This should be selected according to the needs of the project. For example, if the project is small, it can be directly an integrated PLC, but if the project is relatively large, it may require a module or card type, and redundancy may also be required (that is, two sets are used alternately).
3. Power supply
A 24VDC switching power supply, most PLCs have their own 24VDC power supply, and whether this switching power supply is needed depends on whether it is really needed.
4. Relay
Generally, PLC can directly send instructions to the control loop, but it may also be transferred by a relay first. For example, if the output port of your PLC is powered by 24VDC, but the node that needs to be powered by PLC in the diagram of your control loop is 220VAC, then you must add a relay to the output port of the PLC, that is, the relay will work when the command is issued, but then let the node of the control loop be connected to the normally open or normally closed point of the relay. It is also based on the situation to choose whether to use the relay.
5. Terminal block
This is definitely an indispensable thing for every cabinet. It can be configured according to the number of signals. If it is just a simple PLC control cabinet, these things are basically needed. If you need other things in your control cabinet, you can increase it according to the situation. For example, you may need to power some on-site instruments or small control boxes, so you may have to increase the number of air switches. Or if you want the PLC to be connected to the host computer, you may need to add a switch or something. It depends on the situation
